Ann Arbor Arboretum Proposal // Alissa and David

November 15, 2020

Can you imagine writing a song in your head, never getting a chance to even practice it, only to literally play it for the first time out loud to an audience? Nah, me neither. Maybe it’s just my general nerves but I’d definitely try to practice at least once.

So let’s just say, you are wild enough to never even practice this song out loud (because the pandemic doesn’t allow for private rehearsal when you’re sharing your space in close lockdown quarters) and just go for it- while proposing to the love of your life. :::insert mind-blown emoji here:::

This man right here is one talented human being, let’s just get that straight (don’t even get me started on Alissa, how does one human being just encapsulate pure wit and intelligence? Is there an off button? The answer is no, by the way). But also, I’m a complete sucker for pure romance, and this couple here are just overflowing with wild passion for each other.

David proved all the attention to detail in a beautiful proposal, down to the romantic serenade, to perfect All-The-Good-Things-Ever picnic sourced from Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor, all in his love’s alma mater and self-proclaimed “happy place”, forever setting the bar for perfect proposals. There was no shortage of dancing, smooching, and laughing- just like all the best proposals usually include.

Thank you to the both of you for letting me third-wheel it that beautiful afternoon with you <3 I can’t wait to see what music, dancing, and fun your future journey together holds.
